Magnetic Moment & Magnetic Declination Tester
The magnetic moment and magnetic declination tester is precision magnetic testing equipment dedicated for permanent magnet materials. It can synchronously and accurately measure two key parameters of NdFeB magnets: total magnetic moment and magnetization declination (magnetic angle deviation). It evaluates the deviation of magnet magnetization axis and the precision of magnetizing direction. It serves as core inspection instrument for incoming material inspection, full finished-product delivery inspection and formula R&D verification of motor magnetic steel and precision component magnets.
Working Principle
The equipment captures 3D spatial magnetic field components of the tested magnet via a high-precision coil induction system and collects magnetic signals along X, Y and Z axes. The main unit processes and analyzes these signals to automatically calculate total magnetic moment. Meanwhile, by referencing the geometric central axis, it computes the angle between the actual magnetization direction and the designed axis (magnetic declination). The supporting software generates real-time data curves to visually judge whether products meet design tolerance requirements.
