Fluxmeter
A fluxmeter is a precision testing instrument used to measure magnetic flux of magnets, judge magnetization saturation and inspect magnetic performance consistency. Equipped with custom measuring coil fixtures of various sizes, it accurately tests the total magnetic flux of all types of NdFeB permanent magnet products. It is indispensable core inspection equipment for pre-shipment performance testing, incoming material inspection and magnetization quality control of magnetic materials.
Working Principle
Based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, the magnet under test is placed inside the matched induction coil. When the magnet is moved or flipped, the magnetic flux inside the coil changes and induces electromotive force. The fluxmeter main unit collects the induced electrical signal. After internal calculation and processing, it directly converts and displays the total magnetic flux value of the magnet, determining whether magnetization reaches saturation and whether magnetic performance meets design specifications.
Main Applications
Measure total magnetic flux of square, round, ring and special-shaped NdFeB magnets, verify saturation of magnetization process and eliminate under-magnetized and over-magnetized defective products.
Sort products by flux consistency within the same batch, screen workpieces with out-of-tolerance flux deviation to ensure uniform and stable magnetic force of mass-produced parts.
Carry out incoming inspection, in-process sampling and finished-product pre-delivery performance testing to satisfy customer magnetic acceptance criteria and quality traceability requirements.
Compare performance of R&D samples, validate new magnet grades and tune magnetization parameters to optimize magnetizing production processes.
Distinguish forward and reverse magnetic poles, quickly identify magnet polarity and assist orientation judgment during product assembly.
Core Equipment Advantages
High measurement accuracy, fast response and excellent reading repeatability. It precisely captures tiny flux differences and delivers stable and reliable test results. Compatible with multiple induction coil fixtures of different inner diameters, flexibly testing large, medium and small magnetic rings and magnetic steel with strong versatility. Simple and convenient operation. Readings are obtained rapidly after placing the workpiece into the coil; low learning threshold, suitable for rapid batch sampling inspection in workshops. Supports data logging and upper/lower limit judgment. Acceptance thresholds can be set to automatically separate qualified and out-of-spec parts. Strong resistance to ambient magnetic interference, suitable for long-term operation under complex electromagnetic environment in production workshops. Modular structural design enables simple coil replacement and convenient later maintenance with long service life.
