Arc NdFeB magnets are arc-shaped permanent magnetic materials specially for the motor industry. With precisely designed curved structure, multiple pieces can be assembled to form an annular magnetic field. They are widely adopted in various motors, generators, magnetic pumps, automotive motors and power components of intelligent equipment. 1. Material Composition
Arc NdFeB magnets are mainly composed of neodymium metal, pure iron and ferroboron, with the standard chemical formula Nd₂Fe₁₄B. Various metal elements are precisely blended according to different performance grades, then melted and refined via multiple precise metallurgical processes. The finished magnets feature stable magnetic performance and outstanding batch consistency.
2. Product Classification
NdFeB permanent magnets fall into two major types: sintered NdFeB and bonded NdFeB. All our arc magnets are produced with sintered NdFeB technology. Sintered NdFeB delivers far stronger magnetic performance than bonded alternatives, featuring powerful magnetic force, excellent demagnetization resistance and superior temperature tolerance. 3. Manufacturing Process
Arc NdFeB magnets are manufactured through a full-set precision industrial workflow: Raw Material Batching → Melting → Powder Production → Oriented Compaction → High-Temperature Sintering → Precision Shaping → Magnetized Finished Products. Post-processing services including wire cutting, precision arc grinding, slicing, chamfering, drilling and electroplating are available per customer drawings. These processes ensure accurate arc curvature, tight dimensional tolerances and high fitting degree to fully satisfy all motor assembly standards.
4. Surface Anti-Corrosion Coatings
We provide comprehensive anti-corrosion coating solutions for diverse working environments such as motors, water pumps and outdoor equipment. Standard coating options include blue-white zinc plating, color zinc plating, nickel plating, Ni-Cu-Ni composite coating and baking paint. For harsh working conditions, customized premium finishes are available: epoxy coating, electrophoretic coating, phosphating, gold plating, silver plating and chrome plating. These coatings effectively protect magnets against oxidation and rust, making them suitable for humid, liquid, high-temperature and other complex operating environments.
