Block Chamfering Machine
This block chamfering machine is dedicated precision processing equipment for NdFeB square and rectangular magnets. It performs simultaneous chamfer grinding on four edges of square workpieces.
Adopting continuous feeding mode, workpieces pass through the grinding station at a constant speed. The sharp right-angle edges of magnets are ground into bevels of uniform specification in one pass, removing edge burrs and chipping defects generated during cutting. NdFeB material is highly brittle, and sharp corners are prone to chipping upon collision. Chamfering greatly reduces edge chipping defects during subsequent handling and electroplating. It also prevents scratches to operators and mating components during assembly, eliminates point discharge, and enables more uniform and firm adhesion of electroplating coatings.
The machine supports continuous mass production with excellent dimensional consistency. It is indispensable finishing equipment after plane grinding and before surface electroplating for block magnets.
