Centerless Grinder
The centerless grinder in this workshop is custom-built for precision machining of NdFeB cylindrical and wafer magnets. Without centers or fixtures for centering, it completes outer circle grinding relying on self-centering by grinding wheel, regulating wheel and work rest.
It is mainly used for outer diameter finishing of wafer magnets and cylindrical magnetic steel. It removes cutting marks and outer-circle burrs, precisely controls outer diameter and greatly improves the roundness and surface finish of magnets.
Grinding parameters are optimized for the brittle nature of NdFeB material to avoid workpiece chipping and cracking during machining. It supports automatic through-feed continuous feeding for stable mass production with high consistency of dimensional tolerance. It is the core finishing equipment before wafer chamfering and electroplating, suitable for mass production of various round permanent magnet workpieces for motors and sensors.
